
From 2012 onwards, the eye examination has been included in the Elderly Voucher Scheme. Those who have a Hong Kong Identity Card at the age of 65 or above will be able to use the Health Care Voucher for eye examination by a government-approved optometrist (Health Care Voucher service provider). The Starting from 2014, each eligible elderly person has increased the amount of Health Care Voucher to HK $ 2,000 per year and is allowed to accumulate up to HK $ 4,000 for use as a health check or other treatment.
Our Optometrists are government-approved service providers for Health Care Voucher programs. Qualified elders can use Health Care Vouchers to check their eyes in our shop, including eye health examinations, visual acuity and refractive power examination. If the elderly need to have glasses or sunglasses to enhance vision or corrected diopter, which can be deducted from the voucher account.
People who have participated in the voucher scheme will be able to check the coupon remaining value in our shop with their ID cards. Eligible elderly persons who have not used Health Care Voucher will also be able to activate their medical voucher account in our shop for eye examination and with ordering glasses (if required).
